Final Version of AXON 3???
When will we have the final version of Axon 3?
I need it ASAPS. Axon 2 have problems with first layers in all printings and the alpha version of AXON 3 is horrible.
Anybody has config files of the Kisslicer for 2 extruder 3DTouch without heated bed???
I find it very sad that a so expensive printer has so little support.
I bought it because i thought that was the best but for me the best is the customer support and upgrades but in BFB absent
I have seen an Ultimaker working and I'm starting to think it's better and it may be my next printer four times less money.

Basically is axon 3...but for cubex.
It have some more feature than axon 3, but no way to edit material profile.
It can also save in .bfbe format but is not more stable then axon 3 beta.
One strange thing...in program folder there are also the 3d models of the bed of rapman and bfb3000.
I did not try to print anything for now.

I am using glasswalker settings (that I have modified) with the newest version (and the older free version). Both versions of kisslicer worked pretty good out of the box. I used a heated glass bed and PLA, but I think most BFB users are doing rafts on painters tape with the standard bed. 90% of all print issues are 1st layer head height and 1st layer speed and choosing objects easy to print.......
I've had great success (and my friends have as well) with ultimachine.com filament. I recommend started with natural or black. Colored PLA and ABS have often been more difficult to print with IMO.

Hi to all BfB users.
My first post on 3d printer forum. just purchased a 3 head 3d touch for all the Wrong reasons. Well maybe all the right. we will see.
But as you all have said big cash out lay one way or another.
Knowing the company is not supporting as they did is a worry . But still a great peace of hardware
so I have taken a leap of faith and hope to get some good work out of it if I try.
I am very happy to have found KISSlicer Thank you.
Axon is not a function program that is for sure it would put Plugs where holes should be. and things like that. So looks like KISSlicer my be the savoir.
So thanks for the heads up on the software.

I am a new myself with the BFB, but Ive built many 3d printers before I got here. The state of Axon2 is ancient technology (in the 3d printing era) with skeinforge. I tried Axon3 and it was poor but workable. Hopefully the release version of Axon3 is pretty good. In the meantime, most people seem to have gone to kisssclicer. Download the "glasswalker" settings on the kisslicer download area......I found them to work pretty good.
As far as printing, I've built makerbots, mendels and worked with people who have built ultimakers. NONE of them work out of the box and take hours tuning and learning and getting frustrated. That is price of low cost 3d printing. On a positive note, tuning my BFB was done in 1/2 the time of any other printer I've owned.....bacause the hardware is rock solid and just works.
