material cost

So we upgraded to Axon 3 last week and now our 3d touch is actually useable, the previous software was so horrible that it never made a single part without some issue. Our print times have gone down and the quality is great now, I was shopping for replacements and chalking the issues up to buying a second rate 3d printer till this software came out.

 Now our only problem is the material cost.  Is there a way to set it somewhere, and is the cost we are given in USD, or British pound, or what?  My estimates are way off what the software is spitting back.
