3dsystems is making bits from bytes a dog with a leash. this is the power of the money!
It was the only one that had two print heads so lets buy them.
They stopped working and developing skeinforge that was the only software capable of doing decent stuff. They made axon 3 not being able to use other than their expensive materials. Now we cannot even define the temperature.
Too bad I bought a rapman.
AFAIK, Skeinforge is developed by another person not affiliated with BfB/3DSytems. BfB/3DSystems just used it as the backend for their Axon2 and Axon1 slicers. Axon3 uses the Cubify slicer and the ouptut has been made to be proprietary/encrypted. No confidence in actually gaining and maintaing market share on one's own merits of performance; just hide it in a black box.
