Will Axon 3 be available for Rapman 3.1?

Hi. I see that the Axon 3. 0 Beta is only for Rapman 3.2 and up. Does this mean that Rapman 3.1 support will be discontinued after Axon 3.0 is released? Or will Rapman 3.1 support be included later in the beta stage?

Looks like BfB wants us to do the $500-$600 upgrade to get it to work.

Hi,

Is it true that those of us with Rapman 3.1s will not be able to use Axon 3?  I bought my machine only 16 months ago and thought it was great.  I came from trying to build a reprap mendel and never got it working very well.  The Rapman 3.1 assembled easily and in less than 2 days I had a printer that worked RIGHT from the start.  Great.  No extruder jams with PLA

But now, I am very frustrated.  I bought two extruders for multi-color printing, and I'd like to print raftless.... but this is not possible with any version of Axon 2, at least as far as I can tell.  Why can't Axon 3 work with Rapman 3.1?  I thought I was buying a machine that would be supported - I thought Bits from Bytes had a good reputation for customer support....but now it seems that is not the case.  :-(

And yes, I can print raftless using Chylld's derafter, but why should I have to use 3rd party software to run my machine?

I am sorry to say that I am unwilling to recommend any of your printers to my friends who want to get into 3d printing....
